What I Do
-
Voice Lessons
Since 2013, I have helped singers of all ages develop healthy vocal technique, strong musicianship, and confidence in performance across classical, musical theatre, and commercial styles. My students have earned recognition in competitions at the national level, gained admission to top music programs, performed leading roles, and joined selective vocal ensembles. I am passionate about helping each student discover their authentic voice, grow as an artist, and find joy and fulfillment in singing.

Voice Performance
As a singer, I bring extensive training in classical voice alongside experience in musical theatre, contemporary styles, and acting. My performance work spans concert, theatrical, and collaborative projects, including appearances with the Firebird Pops Orchestra, and as vocalist and co-producer for Octave of Light, an exoplanet-inspired album and song cycle composed by David Ibbett. I am known for stylistic versatility, expressive storytelling, and a strong technical foundation across genres.
Beth Sterling is a versatile vocalist and dedicated educator who has been performing and teaching singers of all ages since 2013. Her teaching emphasizes individualized instruction and personalized goal-setting, empowering students to grow as musicians, challenge themselves as performers, and find joy and fulfillment in singing.
Beth’s students are recognized for their exceptional achievement and consistent artistic growth. They have earned placements in prestigious national competitions, including the National Association of Teachers of Singing National Student Auditions, Music International Grand Prix, and the Hal Leonard Vocal Competition, while also regularly placing in local and regional competitions. Recent highlights include performances with the Firebird Pops Orchestra, and featured performances throughout the Boston area and New England of Octave of Light, an original album and song cycle she co-produced with composer David Ibbett.
